Elbert Theatre

With 358 seats on the main floor and up to 40 in the balcony, the Elbert Theatre boasts a seating capacity of 398 in total.  The theatre is a fully renovated, art deco style performing arts facility, conveniently located just off the square in beautiful downtown Elberton, Georgia.  The Elbert Theatreís stage performing area is 28 feet wide and 20 feet deep with limited backstage and wing space. The stage floor is Masonite, with a plywood sub-floor over a cement pad. A stage level dock provides easy access for load in and strike. The Elbert Theatre is equipped with state of the art light, sound, and film systems and knowledgeable, friendly staff to assist in planning and producing your event. An orchestra pit can accommodate up to 12 musicians.

The auditorium features raked, continental seating with fixed padded theatre seats. Limited wheelchair seating is available. The lobby is of comfortable size with glass display cases for concessions sales, a granite top counter for food service, a sink with hot and cold water, and ample room for tables. Womenís and menís restrooms are conveniently located on either side of the vestibule just past the lobby. The adjacent Elberton Arts Center has a variety of rooms available for rent to accommodate pre or post show receptions. Please ask the theatre director for more details.

Other amenities include a box office and a full basement which can be used as a green room or dressing room.

Elberton Arts Center

With a seating capacity of approximately 125 adjustable seats in the auditorium, the Elberton Arts Center is a fully renovated performing arts facility, conveniently located just off the square in beautiful downtown Elberton, Georgia.  The auditorium can be set up for traditional theatre or conference style seating with chairs only or can be transformed into a dinner or meeting space with tables and chairs that can seat approximately 75 people.  The Elberton Arts Centerís stage area has a spacious playing space but very limited backstage and wing space. The stage floor is topped with Masonite and grounded with a plywood sub-floor.  The Arts Center is equipped with state of the art lighting and sound systems and knowledgeable staff to assist in planning and producing your event.   There is an additional room adjacent to the Arts Center auditorium that may be used as backstage space or as a meeting area.  This space also provides access to the public restrooms and the four private dressing rooms.

The lobby is of comfortable size with beautiful floor-length windows and a concessions area. The box office location works out of the same concessions area and is easily accessible in the lobby.  Womenís and menís restrooms are conveniently located in a hallway just off the right side the lobby. Also located along the same hallway the is the Elberton Arts Center kitchen area equipped for food service with a sink with hot and cold water, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, prep-work counter space, several outlets for warming trays/food processors and a working gas stove.
